FC TalenVision head coach Mkhuphali Masuku is happy with his boys’ good start to the season but believes results of the pre-season work will show after Match 5.
Masuku told FC TalenVision Media that he was happy with the two wins over Makomo 3-1 and Casmyn 1-0.
“I am happy we have started well as a club. The boys have done some commendable work on the pitch so far,” said Masuku a former Warriors assistant gaffer.
Masuku said opening match results had been good but he expected the boys to show their off-season work by Week Five.
“Slowly we have been working, but we getting there. I think from Game 5 we will start to see the bigger picture of our pre-season work,” said Masuku whose side ranks among the favourites for the Zifa Southern League title.
FC TalenVision went into the market and assembled a team good enough to challenge for honours.
Among the new arrivals are defender Itai Mabunu, Wandile Ndlovu, Adolf Muganyi, Nedrick Madeya, promoted Zibusiso Zondo a goalkeeper from Ntokozo Tshuma’s development side while retaining a bulk of last year’s players on improved contracts.
The decision to retain and improve captain Mongameli Ndlovu who was wanted by a number of Premiership sides, seems to be paying off as his leadership on the field of play and combination with Douglas Sibanda, Mthulisi Sibanda and Kudzie Dzingwe has looked tight enough.
